STEWARDSHIP
During our strategic planning process in 2015, our parish identified the need for additional stewardship education. As a result, the implementation of a new stewardship education program has been approved. The program, which is Biblically based and theologically sound, will help each parishioner examine his or her current stewardship beliefs and practices move toward a more spiritual and satisfying understanding of what stewardship truly is.
As previously noted, since 1973 our church has grown from its original 21 members to more than 1,500 from throughout our area. Some of our members have grown up at Saint Stephen’s. Some have come from other Episcopal churches. Others are former Roman Catholics or were members of other Protestant churches before finding a new church home in the loving and inclusive atmosphere at Saint Stephen’s.
